The extinction of Polaroid

This is my first post on a blog, ever. There is no doubt in my mind that it may blow the goat, but what the heck. I think its neat that my sister asked me to write on her blog, this will give you readers some perceptions from both sides of the country. I am one of those creative people that decided it would be original and unthought of to move to a far-away-land-of-opportunity named "Fort McMurray".
I don't miss home very much, I miss the culture of St.John's, the home cooked meals of Corner Brook, and the fresh air of Burin... but all in all i can always visit. Here there is Oil, and Cows, and Redneck Politions, kind of sounds like our friends to the South.. aka. Texas, but its cold here, and much better looking people.
Now, for the important stuff. In a few months everything to do with a Polaroid camera will be unavailable to buy, they are discontinuing everything, and this makes me very sad. How will I ever get a picture to look like it came from the early 1990's!! I am sure i am not the only one who misses having their face on a little piece of plastic and watching it develop in front of your eyes! no 10 megapixles that pick up on the small hair out of place of blemish, everyone looks great on a polaroid!
I did a little magic, and typed in "substitute for the polaroid" in google, and it lead me to www.poladroid.net , and my vain, self-obsessed world was changed for the best. (the site will give you all the instuctions you need, and it works on both mac and pc)
