Love <3

The most talked about - written about - sang about - thought about - sought after - ran from thing in existence.

Never has one thing been so strengthening - so weakening - so happy - so painful - so clear - so confusing all at once.

It can lead to a forever Utopic state - or to our own demise.

Our own growth and flourishing - our own discovery completeness. Our own shut down - our own withdrawal.

It is so disturbing, yet comforting that a force can have such a power of us as creatures.

We look and look and look for it - yet we may look past it even when it is sitting right in front of us. We think we know what it is until it hits us. Or we think we have been hit by it - only to discover later we had it confused with something else like obsession and dependance - which are not even close to being love - but trigger the same responses.

We think we can only have it once - but how can that be so with so many great people in the world? How can there be only one? And if that were true - our odds of finding "the one" are slim - I mean - how often to hear about stories where "the one" was continents away living in a war torn country with no way of meeting anyone else but the people next to them in just as much of a disarray as they are?

Love - a high emotion -the only positive one on the list - which is probably why it is not always felt as being positive. Right up there with the high emotions is hate and anger - which could probably explain jealously - but that is a totally other topic altogether.

An emotion that makes us stay in IMPOSSIBLE situations - a situation that any one who WASN'T cursed with love with have been out of long ago with all of their senses in tack. An emotion that can bring us to tears of dismay or happiness in a heart beat (play on words intended there).

An emotion that makes us humble - and different people - good or bad.

One seeking love should seek with caution - and an open heart as well as open eyes. True love could pass you by and you will never know it while you are out looking for your perceived ideas.
